MDA officials report that at 4:39AM on Tuesday, 1 Sivan, the dispatch center received a call for a collision between two trucks on the Ayalon Highway near the Hasira Interchange on the way to Ayalon south. The accident was located on Route 20 near the Shivat HaKochavim Interchange.

Paramedics declared a 26-year-old male dead on the scene.

Paramedic Yonit Ninav explains a truck slammed into a truck, which appeared to be parked on the shoulder, pinning the person pronounced dead. It took considerable time to extricate the victim from the twisted metal. Police accident investigators arrived on the scene to collect evidence and an investigation into the fatal accident has been launched.
