The following poll published in Yediot Achronot on Wednesday, 24 Iyar, was conducted by Magar Mochot and commissioned by Likud to determine the battlefield in the Jerusalem mayoral race.
The candidates are Moshe Leon (21%), Ofir Berkowitz (21%) and Likud candidate, Ze’ev Elkin (17%). 40% of Jerusalem residents have yet to make up their mind regarding which candidate to back in the mayoral race.
In a battle between Elkin and Leon, Elkin emerges the victor with 26% to Leon’s 24%. In this race, 50% of Jerusalemites have yet to select a candidate.
It is reported that Elkin was waiting to announce his candidacy until receiving the results of this poll.
