It is now being reported that the agreement between the Likud and Yisrael Beitenu parties is going to be terminated immediately following elections on 11 Shevat 5773. The two parties signed the agreement about five weeks ago, announcing they would run under a combined ticket in the general elections.
According to a Haaretz report, the only reminder of the union will be the seats and cabinet posts filled by members of the party but immediately following the elections, the parties will go on their own separate ways, independent of one another.
