A fourth suspect was taken into custody during the night, Wednesday to Thursday, 21 Teves 5773. A talmid of Ponevezh Yeshiva was taken into custody for his alleged involvement in the attack against HaPeles newspaper Editor-in-Chief Nati Grossman, who was attacked near his Bayit Vegan home.

The suspect was remanded in the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court in the morning, and he was ordered to remain in jail until erev shabbos, at which time the court will decide if he will remain imprisoned over shabbos or not.

Another suspect in the case was released to 14 days house arrest on Wednesday, 20 Teves, in addition to 25,000 NIS bail.

The in-fighting between the Degel Hatorah and Yerushalmi factions in the Litvish camp seems to have led to the assault.
