The accompanying photo is that of a 2000-ton Israeli flag measuring 120 by 88 meters, reportedly the largest in the world.
It is reportedly made of gravel and stones and 936 liters of paint. The Flag Project was undertaken by the Sapir Engineering Company and Astrom, the latter building the Gulf Harbor.
The project was completed in honor of Israel’s 70th birthday on Wednesday.
