This Wednesday evening, April 18th at 7:00 PM, a free informative event on dementia care, will take place at the Boro Park Center, 4915 Tenth Ave. For the very first time, Zicharon is bringing to NYC, the foremost National Dementia Communication Specialist, author and syndicated columnist, Gary J LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc will address most common issues caregivers of dementia sufferers deal with and offer tips and cues to circumvent them. Through simple cues and changes in behavior, one can reduce anxiety, aggression, depression, confusion and anger in a person suffering from dementia.

 Event will begin with a state of the art virtual reality program, where caregivers will actually get to feel as though they are in the brain of the loved one they are caring for, bringing an extra level of understanding of what a demented person feels. 

 This is a one time opportunity for caregivers that should not be missed!!!
