The Bayit HaYehudi Party on Thursday, announced it is pulling a controversial election infomercial that includes IDF soldiers. The ad came under attack for opponents feel the party was seeking to capitalize on the IDF, stating the IDF should not be a part of the election campaign.

The left-wing Meretz Party filed a complaint to the Central Election Committee seeking to have the ad campaign disqualified, but the party announced it was canceling the infomercial without the committee having to issue a ruling.
