Bnei Brak police on Wednesday, arrested a 56-year-old Gaza man who has been in Bnei Brak for the past 20 years, the area shabbos goy.
It is reported that over the years, he did cleaning and repair work, and during this period of time, he gained the trust of area talmidim. He used and abused this trust to engage in inappropriate acts with talmidim, paying them money.
Ynet reports that to date, police have identified two young students who were taken advantage of by the suspect. Police are quite confident that there are other victims, but cooperation in the chareidi community is limited at best.
The suspect denies the allegations against him, insisting he never harmed area children. The suspect is being remanded in a Tel Aviv court on Thursday, 14 Teves.
