The IDF Spokesman’s Office reports fighter planes during the night of 24 Nissan, Sunday night to Monday, attacked terrorist targets in northern Gaza in retaliation for the infiltration of terrorists and the placement of explosives on Sunday, 23 Nissan.
In that incident, it was first reported that gunfire was directed at soldiers along the border but in fact, soldiers detected the infiltration and fired at the terrorists, sending them back into Gaza, but not before they placed some explosives along the border.
A military base belonging to Hamas was targeted in the aerial attack, citing Israel holds Hamas responsible for all anti-Israel hostilities coming out of Gaza.
