After the recent donation of a new Sefer Torah to the beis medrash of HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita, a new aron kodesh has been added. The old one was quite worn to put it mildly, and not really designed to hold the two Sifrei Torah that are now inside.

HaRav HaChossid R’ Dovid Margli, executive director of the International Vaad חסידי מאקאווא saw the situation and decided to act, purchasing the new aron kodesh which appears to have brought much simcha to Rav Kanievsky.

The two-level aron came with new paroches of course, and it holds the two Sifrei Torah and Sifrei Nevi’im on the bottom level. R’ Margli told Rav Kanievsky that he donated the aron in memory of his mother, who was niftar last Iyar.

R’ Chaim joined R’ Margli in a l’chaim, adding this is true ‘זה קלי ואנווהו’, praising the new Sefer Torah and aron kodesh.
