New York State Senator Martin Golden (R – Brooklyn) ‘no longer employs’ an aide who shared controversial Facebook posts that compared Democrats and gun control advocates to Nazis Y”MS, the NY Daily News reported.
Golden, a Republican, announced Tuesday afternoon that longtime aide Anthony Testaverde was no longer working on his staff.
“Anthony Testaverde is no longer employed by my office,” Golden said in a statement. “While freedom of speech is a right, that all citizens enjoy, what occurred in this instance was wrong and cannot be tolerated.”
Golden’s statement did not indicate whether Testaverde was fired or resigned.
Testaverde on Saturday shared Facebook posts that included one from the group The Common Sense Conservative with a picture of a Parkland, Florida shooting survivor with his right arm extended. It was placed next to a picture of Adolph Hitler in the same pose with the caption: “I knew something was off about this kid.”
Another post said “The Democrats are doing exactly what Hitler did…He used the youth to disarm and control the people. This is scary!”

The only problem is that when I saw this picture of this kid, I thought the same thing.
If there is nothing to it, then why are these people stupid enough to actually use that picture of him with his arm extended like the nazis??
For what purpose? These people every day are making the stupidest mistakes, which then necessitates a need for an apology. For what? For why? And im not referring to the aide, I’m referring to the people who used that photo of the kid as a headline, not to promote this idea that he looks like a Nazi, just as way to put a picture on a news article!
For what purpose? So someone can comment on EXACTLY what it looks like and get fired??
Anyways, this kid is a faker, do your research and see where in one interview he says he wasn’t by school and rode his bike 3 miles to get there once he heard about the shooting, and in another interview he said he was there at the school during the shooting. He was also interviewed months ago by the media regarding something else.
I think he should have thought before posting, but he’s not wrong with Hitler using the youths for propganda.
I think Democrats use all people for their propganda, i.e. African Americans, Latinos, Jews, and yes the “Youths”. But there’s no outcry on them. Why?………..
