Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman has decided there will be a closure imposed on PA (Palestinian Authority) residents, prohibiting them from crossing into Green Line Israel during Pesach. He decision was reached following high-level security briefings.

The closure will begin on Thursday, and continue until motzei Shabbos following Pesach at midnight, the night between Shabbos and Sunday.

As is always, exceptions will be made to accommodate urgent medical and humanitarian cases. The restrictions do not impact travel within PA areas and Yehuda and Shomron.
