Deputy Health Minister Rav Yaakov Litzman addressed a Bnei Brak election asifa in Bnei Brak together with a number of party members. Addressing various political issues, Litzman explained he may opt to reveal a document that has been in his possession since Tzipi Livni tried to assemble a coalition government, albeit without success. Litzman explains that despite statements to the contrary today by Livni, who heads The Movement Party, she was willing to allocate budgets to yeshivos towards successfully arranging a government. Today however she denies this was the case. He was referring to the time when Livni was head of Kadima and failed to arrange a coalition.

Livni is now championing the anti-chareidi front, telling the media that she believes a government must be elected that understands the need for law and order, and that rule of law must be absolute, “not halacha”, using a negative tone against those who feel the Jewish nation should place halacha ahead of the state’s secular laws and judicial system.
