A Chareidi police officer was recently involved in an intense investigation which led to the successful arrest of 15 drug dealers – Israeli Police announced to the media on Monday. According to an Arutz 7 report, the officer – who is married with 5 children – went undercover and purchased drugs from the dealers; claiming that he was re-distributing it to Yeshiva students.

Oy vey. Any time a cop has infiltrate the yeshiva underworld for a drug bust is a black day for the frumma velt
Shtayger: nowhere in the article does it say that the dealers were part of the “yeshiva underworld”; rather it stated that the undercover cop was a chareidi man who told the dealers that the drugs were for yeshiva students.
and the fact that he is frum is improtant why?
Thank you cop for step #1.
Anyway to minimize drugs circulating on the street is a mitzvah gedolah, additionally we need counsellors and helpers on the rechov to assist and help these kids better their lives.
where does it come in to say that he’s A Chareidi police officer????
#4, of course it is important! Do you think a drug dealer would sell drugs to someone who says their going to give it to yeshivah bocurs if they’re wearing a t-shirt and a baseball cap?
So what? He’s a police officer. He is in a “Jewish” country. He is supposed to do his job to protect the public and apprehend criminals. He did his job. Would you expect him NOT to because he is frum? WHAT’S THE CHIDDUSH???
proudKAJ- The chiddush probably is Charedei and working in a government job!!!! Like so what, keep up the good work.
was this the Satmer cop from London that we read about here: http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/article.php?p=9607
