After the Hisorarus party initiated a proposal to grant municipal property tax reductions to IDF reservists, the mayor accepted the proposal and brought the outline for approval by the city council.
The Hisorarus party in Jerusalem headed by Ofer Berkowitz, together with the Yerushalmi faction and the Jerusalem Meuchedet faction, submitted a motion to order in the Jerusalem city council, which included discounts for reservists.
The 5% assumption will strengthen the young Zionist public in the city and reduce the huge economic burden that exists today on young people in Israel, with the understanding that those who contribute to the state deserve to be returned.
Today we were informed that the mayor of Jerusalem accepted the outline proposed by Hisorarus and that he would bring the outline for approval in upcoming city council meeting.
Ofer Berkowitz, Chairman of the Awakening Movement and the candidate for mayor: “It is a pleasure that Nir Barkat accepted the proposal for a discount in arnona for reservists who are so close to us, since all those Hisorarus members serve actively. This is an important message to the public that contributes to families facing the challenge of reserve duty. We will continue to act with all determination in order to continue to advance the reservists, the backbone of Israeli society and to strengthen them in Jerusalem. ”
