Four fire vehicles along with a specialized vehicle that is filled with fire retardant materials, responded to a large fire consuming forestry area near Railway Tunnel A3 and at Bridge 9 between Ramot and Mevassert Tzion on Tuesday night, the eve of 20 Adar. B’chasdei Hashem they succeeded in preventing the large fire from spreading to the large forestry areas.

Fire officials on Wednesday morning recommended that residents of Ramat and Mevassert keep windows closed to prevent smoke from entering.
