Four thousand eight hundred avreichim will be gathering in four large batei medrashim in Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, Ashdod and Modi’in Illit on Purim night and study Shas. Together, they plan to complete Shas eight times! As in the days of Mordechai, who sat with the tenokos shel beis raban, וקול תורתם הכריע את הכף.
This year too, at chatzos, when the Shar Shomayim opens to receive the hundreds of thousands of holy words…thousands of lomdim will stand in recitation of tefilos for the needs of Am Yisrael. At the end, Tehillim will be recited and each of the avreichim will receive a sheet in advance with requests and pleas from HKBH.
