A number of Israelis who also maintain American citizenship have filed a lawsuit against United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the US Department of State. The lawsuit claims the American government has given the PA (Palestinian Authority) billions of dollars and the officials failed to safeguard the funds as required by law. As a result, instead of the humanitarian assistance being allocated as it should, the monies were spent to fund Hamas and other terrorist activities.
American officials are alleged to have ignored Congressional safeguards and transparency demands governing such funding; simply permitting the money to be used as it was instead of being allocated for the humanitarian assistance it was intended to serve.
Attorney Nitsana Darshan-Leitner of Shurat HaDin – Israel Law Center claims the White House and other officials simply ignored the law and as a result, placed American citizens in danger and such funding must be halted.
Darshan-Leitner adds “Once handed over, US funding of the PA and UNRWA is difficult to trace and the State Department has been lax in requiring the Palestinians to utilize bank accounts and other transfer methods that ensure transparency…Elements of the US government, particularly the State Department and USAID are breaking the law and must cease all funding of the PA immediately. US aid to the Palestinians is killing innocent people.”

This has been common knowledge for a long time. It has been too long until this was made a matter of record in the court system, and it will hopefully be noticed by the media. The Democratic controlled media will probably ignore this story and whitewash the fact that the current administration has turned a blind eye to ongoing terrorist activity. It was more important to screen octogenerians and babies in airports in the name of national security, while handing off billions of dollars in aid that was labeled humanitarian (because it sounds good) while it was used to fund terror.

This has been happening through many adminisstrations, both Republican and Democrat.
The State Department has always been notoriously pro-Arab and has only been reined in by the president and congress.
This situation has been on-going since 1948 without any change no matteer which party was in power.
Nitzana does great work. Yes, it’s been common knowledge for a long time, but you can’t sue based on common knowledge, you have to actually gather the evidence, and I’m sure she’s been working on that for a while.
