Red Alert Sirens Continue on Sunday Evening As Gaza Rocket Fired At Israel’s South


Just before 10:00PM Israel time, Red Alert sirens sounded in Sderot and the surrounding area as another rocket was fired from Gaza into Israel. The rocket landed in the Sha’ar Hangev Regional Council district. The rocket reportedly landed in an open area and there were no injuries or damage to property reported.

According to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit the IDF tracked one rocket being fired from Gaza during the attack.

Sirens also sounded in the Gaza periphery and Lachish regions on Sunday morning just before 3:00AM marking the continued escalation of fire in the area surrounding the Gaza Strip. On Saturday, a house in Sha’ar Hanegev sustained a direct hit from a rocket fired from Gaza.
