Reply To: Culturally sensitive Purim costumes

If someone asks you to jump through hoops not to offend them, you should take some time to work out the costs and benefits. But if people just don’t want you dressing up as them for Purim, telling mean jokes about them, or making racist comments, you shouldn’t have to question that at all. Anything that lies somewhere in between is something you have to figure out.
