Phil, Israeli universities receive far far more financial aid, proportionally to their population and in terms of real shekels, compared to the frum community and yeshivos. So yeshivos in Israel are already being shortchanged. The universities and their students are the ones that should be thanking the frum, who don’t use those schools yet are taxed for them all the same while their own yeshivos receive less.
