Following is information that may assist in following the warfare in southern Israel, explaining some of the geography pertaining to the hardest hit areas.
S’dot Negev Regional Council
The regional council is located in the northwestern Negev in relation to Gaza.
Kibbutzim:
Sa’ad and Alumim
Moshavim:
Beit Hagdi, Givolim, Zeroa, Yoshivaya, Kfar Maimon, Malilot, Shuva, Shokda, Shibolim, Shasheret, and Tekuma.
Yishuv Kehilati:
Ma’agalim and Toshiya.
Eshkol Regional Council
The regional council runs from Kibbutz Be’eri in the north to Chogat HaGur in the south. From Nachal Basor in the east to the international border at Gaza in the west. The regional council encompasses 1,000 square kilometers, most being agricultural land.
The regional council is made up of 32 communities, 14 kibbutzim, 15 moshavim and 3 yishuvim kehilatiyim.
Kibbutzim:
Orim, Be’eri, Kissufim, Ein Shlosha, Nirim, Nir Ohz, Re’im, Magen, Nir Yitzchak, Sufa, Chulit, Kerem Shalom, Gevulot, and Tzeilim.
Moshavim:
Ohad, Sdei Nitzan, Telmei Eliyahu, Amiohz, Mivtachim, Yesha, Telmei Yosef, Pri Gan, Dekel, Yated, Sdei Avraham, Yavul, Ein HaBesor, Bnei Netzarim and N’vei.
Yishuv Kehilati:
Avshalom, Tzochar, and Shlumit.
Ashkelon Coast Regional Council
Be’er Ganim, Beit Shikma, Berchiya, Bat Hadar, Gvaram, Gi’a, Hodaiya, Zikim, Chalatz, Yad Mordechai, Kochav Michael, Kfar Silver, Karmiya, Mivka’im, Mishan, Nitzanim, Nitzan, Atar, Nir Yisrael, Netiv Ha’asara, Telmei Yaffa.
