Nine months after the heinous murder of Sarah Halimi HY”D in France, a French court has dismissed requests by Jewish organizations to recognize the murder as being classified as a hate crime. Halimi was brutally stabbed and flung from a window in Paris in April of last year. The Halimi family lawyer had submitted a similar request just after she died.
Francis Khalifat, President of the Council of Representatives of Jewish Organizations in France know as C.R.I.F. said that: “This is an insult to the memory of Sarah and is an extra trauma that her children and family have to deal with.”
On April 5th 2017, just after 4:30 a.m., a Muslim neighbor broke into the home of Sarah Halimi, and stabbed her. She escaped to the balcony, the neighbor followed her and while she was pleading for her life, dragged her and threw her over the edge of the balcony to her death. During the ordeal the neighbor was screaming “Allah Aqbar.” Halimi was Charedi doctor and was 66-years-old when she died.
The murderer, who had been arrested previously for violent crimes, was apprehended by police and sent for a psychological exams as there was a suspicion that he was suffering from mental heath issues.
Last Monday, a Parisian court accepted the opinion of the psychiatrist who declared the murderer fit for trial. Today, the judge ruled that the act of murder was not fueled by anti-Semitic sentiment.

This is typically the reaction of the authorities in Europe today in order to placate the Muslims. In Holland recently a Palestinian smashed the windows of a kosher restaurant waiving a Palestinian flag. He later told the police that he had been prepared to die in the attack on the restaurant and that he will continue engaging in violence. The court released him for three months while a psychiatrist and a psychologist take turns trying to exonerate him on the grounds of mental illness.
A Muslim terrorist stabbed four people at a train station near Munich while screaming, “Allahu Akbar”. He shouted that his victims were all “unbelievers” and, “Infidel, you must die”. The German authorities blamed mental illness.
In Russia, Gyulchekhra Bobokulova beheaded a 4-year-old girl and displayed her head in the street while shouting, “Allahu Akbar. I hate democracy. I am a terrorist. I want you dead.” The Russian authorities decided that this could only mean mental illness.
In France, Karim Cheurfi had been investigated for terrorism activities for months. The French police had questioned him about his threats to kill police officers. Finally he opened fire on police officers in the Champs-Élysées. ISIS claimed credit for the attack. So of course his former lawyer claimed that he wasn’t an Islamic terrorist, but suffered from a “psychologically fragile character”
Abdellah rammed his car into three Chinese students near a campus in a suburb of Toulouse. He told the police, “I am on a mission” and revealed that he had planned the attack for a month. The prosecutor insisted that it wasn’t terrorism. “What matters in this case is the psychiatric profile,” he said
European governments would rather tolerate terrorists than fight them.
