315 LP gas cylinders being stored contrary to regulations were confiscated by police during a raid on the pirate gas operation in the Jerusalem district. The cylinders were being stored illegally next to three apartments in the eastern capital.

On Tuesday night, the eve of Tu B’Shevat, Israel Police, Border Police and gas inspectors raided three warehouses in eastern Jerusalem, a facility that allegedly served as illegal gas storage for distributing, selling, and installing gas illegally in the eastern capital. The operation was selling to area homes.

In the search, a total of 315 gas balloons, 2 trucks and a pickup truck were seized. Police warn the storage of gas contrary to regulations poses a serious hazard to the area public.
