Woman Found Dead On Midwood Street; NYPD Investigating

A suspicious death is being investigated in Flatbush on Thursday morning.

Police say that at 6:25AM, 911 received a call reporting “an assault in progress” at 2317 Olean Street (between East 24 and East 23 and between Ave N-O) – in the confines of the 70th Precinct.

Upon arrival, police discovered an unidentified female with no obvious signs of trauma lying unconscious and unresponsive, on the sidewalk at the location.

EMS responded and pronounced the female deceased at the scene.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.

Identification of the deceased is pending proper family notification.

  1. crime is going up under this commie mayor, broken windows, stop and frisk and an empowered police force is the only solution to dealing with crime.

  2. NYC just completed a year with the lowest number of homicides in almost 70 years. But don’t let facts get in the way of your rant.

Those were just the reported homicides. The numbers don’t include those who were not caught or who were charged with lower level crimes in order to meet quotas.

  4. Number 1 your an idiot. Know your facts before you post. Like number 2 said we just had the lowest crime yr in history. So while I’m not a fan of this mayor at all one thing is going right in this city is the exact thing you blame him for. Get a life!

Uhm… you don’t need to “catch” someone for a homicide to be reported. Victim is dead regardless if the perpetrator is caught. (Perpetrator means the one committing the crime, just in case that word was too difficult for you)

  6. Zaltzvasser the numbers only included reported and everything else you said. (I don’t know about your quota theory but whatever) bottom line is it went down a lot.
