Baby number 100,000 was born early this morning at the Laniado Hospital, a source tells YWN. The Laniado Hospital – located in Netanya – was started, and built, by the previous Sanz Klausenberg Rebbe ZATZAL. Since it was built, they have been Boruch Hashem delivering hundreds of Jewish babies each month.
Sanz Medical Center-Laniado Hospital is also the only hospital in Netanya, Israel serving a population of over 220,000. The Medical Center, which was established in 1975, operates a full scale medical campus including a Nursing School and two Geriatric Care Centers. It is a unique institution, conceived and run according to Halacha – without in any way compromising the highest standards of medical practice.
The Hospital is a community health care facility not funded by the Israeli government.

The Klausenberg Rebbe ztv’l zy’a is one of the greatest, perhaps unsung, heroes who re-established Torah life post-holocaust.
Very cool. A Real Kiddush Hashem.
THE COMMENT MADE BY JOSEPH #1 IS TRUE.WHATS MAKES IT MORE MEANINGFUL IS THE CLEARVOIANCE OF THE KLAUSINGBERGER REBBI TO SEE THAT HOSPITAL BE BUILT IN ISRAEL WHERE THE FUTURE DESTINY OF OUR PEOPLE WILL TAKE PLACE . THE GROWTH OF THE HOSPITAL AND MATERNITY WING WILL GROW EVEN FASTER, KEIN YIRBU, AND NEW GENERATIONS OF FRUM ISRAELIS WILL PROPAGATE THERE.
The Tzaddik’s inspiration towards this hospital was very interesting,
He was in Aushwitz and was shot by a guard. In order to protect the wound he grabbed a leaf and covered it. He then made a promise to himself that after the war, he will see to it that every Jew gets proper medical care, ,,,,,,,
