Border police arrested a man who was threatening persons in a Beersheva hotel lobby. A call came in to police, explaining an armed man was threatening guests and passersby.

Police arrived and restrained the suspect without incident despite the suspect resisting arrest. He threw the knife, which was wrapped in paper, on the ground. It is reported he was intoxicated.

The suspect, a Beersheva man in his 50s, was taken into custody.
