Work has begun to exhume the body of Palestine Liberation Organization leader Yasser Arafat ahead of an investigation of his 2004 death.
This comes after French authorities opened a murder inquiry into his death this year after high levels of a radioactive substance were found on some of his personal belongings.
The inquiry was launched after Arafat’s widow, Suha Arafat, lodged a formal legal complaint for murder.
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas subsequently approved the exhumation of Arafat’s body from his mausoleum, which is in the Palestinian presidential compound in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

Please don’t put up his picture, it might cause readers to vomit on sight.
What I have hear is that takes more time than ususal since the Israelis covered his grave with 68 inches of reinforced concrete so that they could be certain that he would not come back to haunt them.
This is great! We get to bury the menuval twice!

High levels of radioactivity? Maybe he was in Iran? Or maybe he just had a bad microwave. Besides who’s going to trust a labs findings 8 years after he died? Most probably was poisoned by Abbas himself to get Arafat out of the way.
