The weekend storm, which brought an abundance of rainfall to many areas around the country, also brought a quantity of snow to the Golan Heights, particularly Mount Hermon.

As a result, the ski lodge opened and unfortunately, there was an accident that led to an injury, which is being probed by authorities.

A United Hatzalah EMT who happened to be at the Mt. Hermon ski resort and the resort’s medical team treated a woman who was moderately injured on Sunday afternoon, 20 Teves, after she slipped off the upper ski lift and fell to the ground below.

The woman suffered injuries to her upper body and limbs and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. The incident is currently under investigation.
