A Dan District Israel Police spokesman reports the following occurred in Bnei Brak. A bag with thousands of shekels, a passport and a driver’s license was returned to the tourist after intensive work by the policemen.
On Monday, a tourist was on a bus from the city of Ashdod to Bnei Brak and forgot her bag on the bus with an envelope containing thousands of shekels, a passport and a driver’s license.
When the tourist noticed that the bag she had carried was lost, she went into a nearby shop and asked for help. The shop owner immediately contacted the patrol officers in Bnei Brak who arrived quickly. The officers were briefed,and the police contacted the bus company while officers on the scene and city inspectors began walking the route traveled by the bus she was on. They found the bus on Chazon Ish Street.
They found the bag during a search in the bus and returned it to its owner.
The owner of the bag congratulated the policemen for the effort and ultimately returning the loss.
