17:50 IL: A border policeman sustained a light stab wound to his back at the Shuafat Checkpoint in the Jerusalem district a short time ago. Two other border policemen are being treated for multiple blunt trauma injuries resulting from rocks and other objects thrown at them by Arabs in the area. A number of suspects are under arrest. No additional information at this time.

Ichud Hatzalah responders are treating the border policemen at the Kalandia Checkpoint as they await transport to a Jerusalem hospital.

The perpetrator is reported to be in light-to-moderate condition. The mechanism of his injuries remains unclear at this time. There are a total of seven border policemen injured, the office who was stabbed and the others in light condition.
