Just to be clear, I wasn’t describing someone who is just messy. I would leave the CD case on the desk and the can of coffee on the counter. This person would remove the CD from the case and pack away the case with the other CD cases. They would remove the lid from the coffee and put it back in the cabinet without the lid.
