Plenty of “big” name Jewish stars who stole rock music songs whole, and glued Jewish words to them.
What constitutes Jewish is itself another matter of discussion. Jewish Sefardi music differs from Ashkenazi, at the very least in scales. In any case, most contemporary Jewish music is boring, all sound the same, imitations of one from another, uninspiring . Did I mention uninspiring?
