do the litvaks and chasidim do everything separate at the Mir?
nowecant,
In short, no. In my time in the Mir, i.e. 20 years ago, The Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Noson Zvi ztvk”l encouraged bachurim to daven together in Yeshiva, instead of going to shtieblach. Chassidishe bachurim complained that they went there because they wanted to daven sfard. So the R”Y instituted a Mirrer nusach sfard minyan in one of the botei medrash. He would daven there once every two weeks or so, and appointed a chassidishe mashgiach/rosh chabura to oversee things.
Reb Noson Zvi, who as we all know loved all the bochrim dearly, wanted the chassidish crowd to feel part of the yeshiva, and if it needed a sfard minyan, so be it.
Apparently, the pictures here show that the R”Y was successful and there is a huge chassidish crowd enjoying the benefits of the wonderful mokom Torah that is the Mirrer Yeshivah, Yerushalayim. Thank you JDN and YWN
Wow what a big group! and if these are just the Chassidishe bochrim, how many litvishe bochrim there must be.

I heard that the Mir is almost a city to itself….
