let the rubaling begin. But I hope when all the dust settles romney wins the republican nomination. If not for Huckabee, Romney would clean the floor with McCain he’s going to ruin it for the republican party.
#1 – your post is right on the money. West Virginia proved it today. when huckabee finally backs out he will give his delegates to mccain for a high position if mccain wins
excellent coverage yw!
JOSH MCCAIN OR WHATEVER HIS NAME IS, IS THE BEST COMMANDER. YOU CAN TELL THAT FROM HIS PAST EXPERIANCE
Its an unfortunate fait accompli. Huck is in McCains pocket. And its McCain’s ”turn” to be the nominee, like Dole in ’96, so the establishment is behind McCain, even though the Republican base isn’t — its vote is being split away from Romney by Huckabee.
So it will be McCain vs. Clinton. And with two liberals running against each other, voters will elect the original liberal Clinton.
if you think that mcain is the best, just imagine the senario that the illiagals that are here have no fear of deportation. crime would skyrocket!! plus they would be elligible for benefits like welfare. between the added crime and all the expense entailed in law enforcement and benefits, your taxes will skyrocet
is this what the “YESHIVA WORLD” has to be busy with???

So much of this is ביד השם. We need to daven, as the mishna in Pirkei Avos says, בשלומה של מלכות. Who knows what the next 4 years of presidency can bring? Let’s hope for the best.

Throughout history the events taking place in the world have always had a major impact on the Yeshiva World. For example World War II. Would you rather have not known? In Russia we used to say a joke that two soldiers were in a house as the white army was looking for them. One soldier says to his friend “The White army is coming” and the second soldier says “Let’s drink to it” than the first soldier says they are almost in the courtyard and soldier number two says let’s make a lchiam. then number one says they are almost in the house. lets make a lchaim he replies. at this point they are both so drunk that one soldier says to his friend “Can You see me?’ and he answers “nyet”. :”And i can’t see you either, so if we can’t see each other we must be invisible and have nothing to fear”. They are buried in the shrine of heroes just outside Moscow.
