The attached footage was taken following the Levaya in Holon Israel, for members of the Azan family who R”L perished in the fire that engulfed their home in Flatbush, NY earlier this week. Killed in the horrific tragedy were Mrs. Aliza Azan A”H (39) – the mother of Moshe Azan Z”L (11), Yitzchak Azan Z”L (7), and Henrietta Azan A”H (3). In the video, we see the mother of Yossi Azan saying Divrei Hesped at the Kevura of her daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.

The FDNY investigation concluded that the fire had started from an unattended Menorah.

There is no major change from the hospital, as Tehillim is continued to be recited around the world for Shilat bas Louza Aliza (16) who is critical, Daniel ben Louza Aliza (15) who is critical, and Yosef ben Ahuva Masuda – the father, who is critical.

The father, Yosef, courageously saved the lives of two other children – who are listed in critical condition. He attempted once more to enter the inferno to rescue his wife and three children, but was unable to. He too is listed in critical condition, suffering burns and smoke inhalation.

As YWN had reported, among those who were maspid at the Levaya in Eretz Yisroel were Rishon L’Tzion HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Yosef, Holon Chief Rabbi HaGaon HaRav Avraham Yosef, Interior Minister Aryeh Deri, and Gavriel Sassoon – who just two and a half years ago suffered the loss of his seven children after his home burned down on a Friday night.

Gavriel Sassoon also sent a letter of chizuk to Yosef Azan following this most recent tragedy.

The Levaya in Flatbush was held on Monday night. Thousands of people attended the Levaya to mourn the horrific tragedy.
