During Chanukah, a special menorah will be displayed every day in the news studio of Channel Ten, behind the host.

Last night, the first night of Chanukah, the special menorah of the Zichron Menachem organization, designed and prepared by a number of children with cancer, was presented together with their instructors and founder and chairman of the organization, Chaim Erenthal.

The menorah of Zichron Menachem was adorned by children with the slogan “Put their swords into plowshares,” using needles of syringes and other medical equipment as ornaments in the colors of the association.

“The goal the children wanted to show was that from the dark, light would come, and the syringes and treatments would eventually bring them light and health,” explains Erenthal. “The sweets mark the continuation of the lust for life and the desire to be happy and happy even in difficult times.”
