Ichud Hatzalah has completed preparations for a busy weekend, one that includes the responsibility for manning Kever Rochel over the yahrzeit shabbos. Beginning on Thursday night the eve of 10 Cheshvan 5773 through Sunday, tens of thousands of mispallalim are expected to visit the holy site. The medical coverage will end on Sunday night.

According to Ichud officials, physicians, paramedics and dozens of EMTs are being assigned to the detail and ambulances, scooter and other vehicles will be standing by to provide immediate care in the event of a medical emergency chas v’sholom.

In this situation, Ichud Hatzalah has been assigned exclusively so there will not be any member of the other pre hospital emergency services involved in the operation.

Ichud Hatzalah’s operations division handled the logistics of setting up for the major operation and personnel will be at the tziyun, outside, and also at nearby Checkpoint 300 along with police and other officials involved in the weekend operation.
