Rav Kalisher was niftar prior to the advent of political Zionism. To call him a Zionist is a lie. To even insinuate her shared ideals of the later Zionists is a gross falsehood.
As far as Rabbi Teichtal, he was a small town rabbi who was never considered to be from the gedolim. He only changed his position regarding settling Israel after the war broke out.
