[Photos & videos in the extended article] A security guard was stabbed in the upper torso by a lone terrorist in front of the Jerusalem Central Bus station a short time ago. Police have determined the stabbing was an act of terror.

According to Magen David Adom, the victim was transported to the trauma unit of Shaare Zedek Hospital by paramedics and is now listed in critical condition. Advanced EMT Chananel Elbo explains he found the wounded male outside on the ground, describing him about 30. He adds the victim sustained stab wounds to his upper body and was in a compromised state of consciousness.

The attacker was taken into custody without injury.
