Yisrael Porush Enters Elad Leadership Race

Speaking with Kol Chai radio host Avraham Furster, Elad Deputy Mayor Yisroel Porush stated that he plans to run in the city’s mayoral race “if things do not change from the current situation”.

Porush explained that “the city suffers from serious neglect; problems caused from within and not from outside influence and it is high time that something is done.”

Porush explained that today, as the city nears its 12th birthday, there are over 41,000 residents, “a small city, one that deserves leadership and does not forget the children, the schools, the needs of the city”.

“There are people in the party who know how to address problems, to take care of business, and here, this has not occurred with Shas.”

Porush explained that he has always placed an emphasis on taking great care not to be among those who habitually criticize others, realizing the need for achdus and working together, and he hopes this will be evident to voters on Election Day.
