Many Hi-Tech services, including Internet, were crippled on Thursday following a massive Internet failure which brought many businesses to a standstill and left others struggling to cope, CNN reports.
The failure is being blamed on two undersea cables which have been severed. It is unknown what caused the damage, although some reports said that they suspected that a ship had anchored incorrectly.
The two cables are the prime direct links between Europe, the Middle East and south Asia, Business Week reported.
Reports say that Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain Pakistan and India, are all experiencing severe problems.
Amongst those that been spared the outage include Israel — whose traffic uses a different route — and Lebanon and Iraq. Many Middle East governments have backup satellite systems in case of cable failure.

It takes a tipush to not see that this is only because of the yad hashem! How else would baalei batim in eretz yisroel be able to catch up on YWN?
Mark my words, the anti semites of the world will no doubt proclaim that Israel was behind all of this.
It is only because of the Torah emanating from Israel via the internet were we spared from the outage>
Rav Mechel – the the nk is holding a press conference to condemn this zionist terrorist activity against our peace loving cousins.

Why do you continuously blame all problems on Anti semitism? How are you sure that Jews did this? Perhaps an underground cable became severed. It is high time that we stop blaming all problems on the Jews.
The current theory is that a ship off the Mediterranean coast of Egypt anchored incorrectly, cutting two undersea cables. Neither the US nor Israel are affected.

Somebody beat me to the punch but it will ultimiately be blamed on Israel. It reminds of the Temple mount riots where 17 arab rioters were killed. I called a friend of my mine who’s a cartoonist and asked him to draw a cartoon. A group of UN security council delegates sitting around a table hands raised, saying: The motion is passed we condemn Israel and demand an investigation! In the second frame one delegate leans over and asks the guy next to him: If we already condemned them without an investigation, why do we need an investigation? Third frame, the guy leans over and says “Fool!, so we can condemn them again when they don’t co-operate!”

I have read and reread number 2 literally dozens of times. I am beginning to feel dizzy. It is very hard to continuously read the same sentences hundreds of times.
While I’m sure Reb Michel only had the best of intentions, he should not have jumped to conclusions. It is coming out now that in fact it was NOT the Jews fault as I had contended all along.
Thank you!
