Syrian media is reporting that for a second time in a week, Israel Air Force jets struck a Syrian target near Damascus, the Jamraya Research & Information Center, which is in fact a security facility.
The reports state six missiles were fired at the facility. It is also reported that anti-aircraft fire was directed at the fighter jets, but there were no hits. Hizbullah however reports Syria successfully intercepted three of the six missiles fired.
Haaretz reports the venue targeted is used for weapons development, including non-conventional weapons.
