Two police officers were injured Saturday morning in an accident in Brooklyn.
The crash happened at about 11:20 a.m. at Ridgewood Avenue and Hemlock Street in Ridgewood.
The officers from the 75th Precinct were
enroute to an emergency in thier patrol car — lights and sirens on — when a Chevrolet Trailblazer slammed into its side door, sending them careening into a nearby store.
One person was seriously hurt, while the officers both suffered minor injuries, according to the NYPD.
All were taken to Jamaica Hospital.

Two wrongs don’t make it right but many many cops in nypd roll through stop signs even on non emetgencies all too often. So this story should not come as a surprise.
I’m sure they were wearing their seatbelts.
