Israel Prime Minister attended the Sheva Brachos of a son of Meir Porush on Wednesday evening.
Upon entering the room, the band began playing ‘לבנימין אמר’ from Avraham Fried.
Porush is a member of the Knesset for the Agudas Yisroel faction of United Torah Judaism (UTJ). he was an MK between 1996 and 2011, and again from 2013 until 2016. He is currently the Deputy Minister of Education.
His father Rabbi Menachem Porush (1916–2010) was one of the longest-serving Knesset members.
He is also the owner of the “Hamevaser” daily newspaper in Israel.
