Google has resume photographing the streets of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv as part of its overall updating of streets for Google Maps.
The company announced that in the past, it has photographed most of Israel and now, it is returning to complete and update photos in the database.
Google will also be operating in Rehovot, Petach Tikva and other cities.
The images taken by the vehicles will be processed and uploaded to Google’s map site in a few months. It is highlighted the photos are not broadcast in real time, and prior to uploading, faces of women are blurred, as are license plates of vehicles.
The company adds “You can apply for additional blurring of images that one sees, including one’s family, car, or home”.
