The Manhattan District Attorney’s office is reviewing the actions of three of Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver’s children who voted for their father even though they no longer live in the district.
A source familiar with the situation told the Daily News the review is preliminary and being undertaken to determine if a bona fide investigation is warranted.
A spokeswoman for District Attorney Cy Vance Jr. declined comment.
It is extremely rare for an individual in New York to be prosecuted for voter-registration discrepancies.

Shelleys eye hasn’t recovered from his accident? Is this the only picture of mr silver available to ywn?
It won’t end. They will find something, anything, until Shelly Silver is totally disgraced. Now might be a good time to resign gracefully, before some of the mud sticks. Very, very sad….the worms are turning on one of their own. Not surprising, but nasty nonetheless.
Democrats do a lot of that. In Maryland one of their candidates for Congress had to drop out when it turned out she also voted for a friend in a different state. That’s why the Democrats are against voter ID laws.
At least it was his great-great-grandparents voting (though urban Democratic machines are famous for fighting for the voting rights of the dearly departed).
Why am I not surprised about democrat party voter fraud.
