IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz in his statements Wednesday, ahead of Rosh Hashanah stated the threats facing Israel today are complicated, demanding an unprecedented level of preparedness.

Speaking at a military memorial service, the IDF commander explained the situation today is complicated, and everything possible is being done to achieve a level of preparedness in line with the threats facing Israel today.

In recent statements to the media, the commander stated the IDF has reached a preparedness level never known in the past, and he warns Israel’s enemies “not to test the IDF” for if they do, “the response will be beyond anything they could have imagined”.
