On the ‘Good Morning Israel’ program of Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) hosted by Effie Trager, it is reported that Israel is involved in behind the scenes efforts to bring the tziyun of Rav Nachman of Breslov ZT”L from Uman to Israel. The report cites that it is a place visited by tens of thousands and officials want to see the aliyah to this kever as a local event that does not require travel abroad.
Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotevely is working with Breslov chossid Rav Aryeh Lipo to bring the tziyun to Israel.
While there is no official response from Ukrainian officials of yet, Galei Tzahal adds officials there are responding unofficially, explaining the tziyun is a “National asset” and it will remain Uman where it has been.

Just the Tziyun??
Of course it’s a “national asset.” The Ukrainians hate us and would destroy Rav Nachman’s kever in a minute if they could, but they are not that stupid – they have no interest in losing all the tourism money they make over Uman.
i dont chop. THey want to bring the building? He’s gonna stay there right? Cuz i dont he wants to travel right now. Pretty sure he specifically wanted to be buried there on purpose.
