Back in June 2012, Yaakov Yosef Greenwald signed the papers that cleared the way for his return to Eretz Yisrael, to hopefully bring his ordeal to an end.
The chareidi media in Eretz Yisrael is already reciting ברוך מתיר אסורים as Yaakov is confirmed to be on a flight back home, expected to land in Ben-Gurion International Airport on Wednesday evening, 18 Elul 5772.

BARUCH HASHEM!!! Does this mean I can at long last stop saying Tehillim every day for Yakov Yosef ben Raizel? I am so happy to hear this, but what about SMR, Yakov Ostreicher, Jonathon Pollard & all the others who are imprisoned against all humane decency? We mustn’t stop davenning for them.
Chai Elul is a Yom Tov in Chassidus, with the birth of both the Bal Shem-Tov and the Alter Rebbe. What an auspicious day for his release.
